Community Service is an excellent way to teach outstanding citizenship to our students. Instructors and students from Cosmetology, Health Science, Culinary Arts and Welding teamed up to participate in a project for Christmas In Action. Christmas in Action is a non-profit organization that rehabilitates the homes of low-income, elderly, disabled, and otherwise disadvantaged homeowners.
They completed the tasks of repairing a ramp, relocated a stove and replaced the hood, completed yard work and cleaned the inside of the home. Thank you to Ms. Casey, Ms. Padgett, Chef Brown, Mr. Snyder and their students for brightening a senior citizen's day! You make RDA proud.
