  • Chrissy Lowe was awarded the $500 prize for the "Dream It Do It!" Manufacturing Video Contest.
  • Congratulations to Hannah Brewer, a completer student in the Carpentry program at R.D. Anderson, for being named the 2011 Upstate Technology Champion. (see nontraditional jobs)
  • This year RDA Health Science students raised $1,715 to benefit Spartanburg Regional Hospice. Since participating in the event, they have raised over $3,800! (read more)
  • On November 17, 2011, Mark Hendricks, Automotive Technology Instructor, received $10,000 to purchase 25 laptops and a cart for students to use in the classroom. His program was recognized as a Program of Excellence by the SC Automobile Dealers Association. (read more)
  • On November 17, 2011, SC Automobile Dealers Association presented R. D. Anderson's director, Mrs. Sherri Yarborough, with two Resusci Anne mannequins.
