One instructor serves as President of the South Carolina Health Science Technology Educators Division. Each occupational program and instructor is supported by an advisory committee made up of individuals from business and industry with expertise in a particular area. Typically, advisory committees consider topics such as suggested program revision, new program offerings, and equipment acquisitions. The committees are also involved with student recruitment, student placement, continuing education, financial and instructional support. R.D. Anderson instructors are encouraged to remain informed of current practices and procedures in their respective fields through college courses. |
